David MatherDavid Mather

David Mather is a managing partner of Ensys Capital, LLC ,a private equity and investment company.

Before joining Ensys Capital, LLC, David served as President of Hoover’s, Inc a D&B company focused on the growing internet information and media market segment.  David joined Hoover’s after serving as Vice President and General Manager of Global Business Operations for the $1.4 billion global systems and technology division at Unisys.

Prior to Unisys, David was a Vice President with Hewlett Packard’s imaging and printing division with worldwide responsibility for their direct sales strategy and go-to-market model. Prior to this, David was HP’s Vice President of Americas Sales Operations, after serving as a member of the acquisition team during the HP merger with Compaq Computer Corporation. 

David joined Compaq Computer Corporation in September of 1997 and has held a number of senior management positions within Compaq including Vice President of North America Operations, Director of Sales & Marketing NA, Director of Worldwide Channel Management Compaq Services, and Director of Channel and Field services North America. Prior to joining Compaq, David instituted and managed engineering and consulting service divisions at Providence, Rhode Island-based Unicom MicroAge. He has also founded and privately sold several startup companies, including Massachusetts- based NSI Networking Solutions Inc. and Impact Software Systems.

Along with a bachelor of science in computer science from Northeastern University in Boston, MA David brings 25 years of industry and business experience to Ensys Capital, LLC


Jim BryjaJim Bryja

Jim Bryja is a managing partner of Ensys Capital, LLC ,a private equity and investment company.

In addition to his role with ENSYS Capital LLC, Jim also serves as Chief Operating Officer and Partner at Midtown Consulting Group.  Midtown Consulting Group is a general management and technology consulting company, and a partner firm with ENSYS Capital.  He actively consults in the areas of sales & marketing effectiveness, product management, competitive benchmarking, market research and business operations and strategy. 

Jim has over twenty five years of hands on management experience in finance, sales management, customer service, logistics, market research, international business, M&A and manufacturing management with a wide range of clients in the energy, forest products, packaging, financial services, real estate development and manufacturing industries.  Mr. Bryja also has extensive experience developing industrial commodity trading strategies, price risk mitigation strategies, industrial brands and long-term business planning.

Prior to joining ENSYS and MCG, Mr. Bryja has held a number of executive leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer of Universal Fiber Systems LLC; a synthetic carpet and fabric yarn manufacturer and Vice President of North American Markets for Propex Fabrics Inc., a $650 MM industrial fabrics manufacturer.  He also spent several years as Principal and Office Lead for The North Highland Company, a large global management consulting firm.

Mr. Bryja began his career with Georgia-Pacific Corporation in the Corporate Finance Department and went on to hold various positions including Division Controller and Division Marketing Director, before moving into line sales management. Jim eventually became the Director of Commercial Services for a $400MM business unit of Georgia-Pacific where he was also responsible for the Company’s Asian branch operation in Hong Kong with organizational reports in Europe and Latin America.

Jim holds an MBA from The University of Michigan and was graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BBA degree from The University of Georgia.  He resides in the Atlanta area with his wife Susan and their two children.
